weber summit grill

The Weber Summit grill range is a high end product, no doubt about it.

It is the most expensive product in the entire Weber catalog, but also the biggest, best featured and most extendable.

There are six grills in this range, the specifications of which are brilliant, but the units can also be extended and extended to create a real outdoor kitchen.

These grills are available in LPG or natural gas.

Customizable Setup, layout, and Expansion.

The Weber Summit range of barbecues offers some of the best grills on the market. With these grills Weber offers optional grill centers, the idea being to expand your cooking area to give space for other people to help prepare side dishes and chat while you cook.

Bizarrely perhaps, Weber call this a "social area". You can have a right hand or left hand social area.

Maybe this isn't so far fetched though, the additional work space can be used for food prep, instead of your indoor kitchen, and serving space so guests can come to you, the BBQ chef for their food, rather than passively sitting round a table and waiting.

In addition, the grill center can be further expanded with 2 more storage units, to create an L shaped work station area. You can expand either the left or the right of your grill center with these storage units.

Furthermore, all the materials used in constructing both the grill and extension series have been weather tested, so they should withstand some pretty harsh conditions. I have to say I wouldn't leave any grill out through a cold wet winter, let alone something like this.

The grill center comes with a 27,000 BTU dual ring side burner, for preparing BBQ sauce, boiling corn on the cob or whatever.

Weber Summit Grill Features

The basic model in the Summit series, the E-420, includes four stainless steel burners and a side burner for multi-tasking while grilling. The basic model includes a light on the grill, ideal for night time BBQ’s and an LED tank scale.

A push button gauge scale gives the user an LED output of the level of fuel they have remaining without having opening the lower cabinet. Every model has a piezoelectric lighter for each individual burner.

Weber Summit Grills E470

The big brother of the E-420, the E-470 (see picture left) includes a variety of extra features. It has a rotisserie system with extra space for spit and fork storage, but it also boasts a sear burner and smoker box for the extra expense.

The rotisserie system is powered by 10,600 BTU per hour and cooks the meat through an infrared system.

The top of the range models in the Summit series are the E-620 and the E-670. Each comes with 6 stainless steel burners and two grill lights.

The E-670 comes with the same rotisserie system included in the E-470 model. Every grill in the Summit E series also has an S counterpart, which comes with a beautiful stainless steel finish, rather than the basic black of the E series.
